USB Wired / BT5.0 / 2.4G Tri-Mode

Wired Mode

Switch to USB mode and plug in the cable. LCD lights up when connected.

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Switch to Bluetooth mode.
  2. Hold FN + Q / FN + W / FN + E for 3–5 seconds to pair.
  3. Select the device: ZUOYA GMK81-1, GMK81-2, GMK81-3.
  4. Short press the same keys to switch devices.

2.4Ghz Connection

Switch to 2.4G mode and insert the dongle. LCD icon becomes stable.

2.4Ghz Pairing

Hold FN + R to enter pairing, insert dongle to complete.

Auto Sleep Mode

LCD turns off after 5 minutes idle. Bluetooth deep sleep after 30 minutes.

LCD Settings

Supports 2 custom animation/static sets via the Image Custom Tool.

  1. Download VIA from releases.
  2. Load GMK81-2.4G.json or GMK81-USB.json.
  3. VIA connects automatically.

Keyboard has 4 layers (0–3) for extended functions.

Mac : Image_Tool

  1. Connect the Keyboard via the wire and toggle wired mode
  2. Open the App
  3. Click "Animation" and select your GIF
  4. Switch to the Upload tab and click "uploading all frame" and wait for the red message "uploading don't operate" to disappear
